pump-casing

We manufacture Industrial Pump Casing which is widely used in the various segment pumps.  These pump casings are in accordance of requisite norms and standards. Sintech industrial pump casings gives you the cost benefits which can help you in keeping the product price optimum meeting the market expectations.

What is Pump casing?

Sintech pump casings help you to seal off the inside of the pump to atmosphere. It helps in preventing any leakage and also tangentially supports in retaining pressure. Casing for centrifugal pumps  surround the pump rotor which transmits energy to the fluid handled via the impeller(s) mounted on the rotating shaft.

There are two primary parts of every pump: an impeller and a casing. The impeller creates velocity and the casing converts velocity into pressure.

Types of Pump Casings

There two basic types of pump casings: Volutes and Diffusers.

Whether we’re talking about volutes or diffusers, what all casings have in common is that they are designed to take energy in the form of velocity and convert it into pressure.

Pump Body & Pump Casing

Pump body is also known as pump casing, pump shell. Water pump body is usually made by gray iron.

Our manufacturing plant has made many different types of pump bodies for pumps manufacturers in South East Asia, Europe and USA. For the suitable casting, we use green sand for the outside surface, and use precoated resin sand for the inside surface. This allows us to provide you the good quality casings, keeping the cost as low as possible.

Our offerings come from a good foundry which follows the suitable casting process supported by strict quality control.

Are you selecting the right pump material?

When selecting a pump it is important to take into consideration the materials used in its construction. While some materials may be an up-front low-cost option, if they are used in the wrong application it can become more expensive in the long-term due to premature failure or unexpected servicing and replacement costs.

From selecting the right material for casing to choosing the perfect setup: we’ll help you find a Pumping solution that’s right for you.
